Complete renovation of a Key West houseboat
Customized wood paneling and molding with a light, golden stain surrounds the sitting and sleeping area. White, marine grade paint was used to enhance the old, dark wood navigation station. Blinds to accent the paneling and molding were ordered to fit the windows throughout the houseboat. A bed frame was made and installed to fit the mattress securely in place with room for storage underneath. A bedside table, which is not shown here, was built out of teak to give the owners more space to keep their necessities. The walls, floor, molding and navigation station all required restoration and repair in order to make the houseboat comfortable and livable for it’s owners. The entire houseboat underwent a complete overhaul of the interior.
